Johnnycake Mountain Farm is the 2nd highest point in Hartford County and it has amazing views to show for it. Additionally, we've preserved by deed over 300 acres of open space and farmland (we raise cattle, horses, chickens and goats), which guarantees the rural character of the neighborhood in perpetuity. Along with those 300+ acres is the town's recent purchase of 58 acres from us for a park - something we're really excited to see developed over the next few years as a gathering place for residents and a focal point for town events. In the past we've hosted festivals, concerts and fireworks displays on the parcel and it's good to know those things will continue with the town's support. The lots we have left range in type enough to satisfy most needs: we have both level and sloping lots and both clear and wooded lots. All Lots are 1+ acres. --- One of the nice things about Johnnycake Mountain is that we have no size restrictions, HOAs, etc. and that you can use any builder. More recently, most purchasers buy a lot and sit with it for about year while they work on house plans with an architect before even worrying about finding a builder. We recognize that that timeline doesn't work for everyone though, so we have partnerships with local, reputable builders so you can hit the ground running. Compared to the other builders in the area, it's hard to beat the value and experience Westconn brings to a project.
